Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Mid to Senior-level Digital Product Owner (DPO) to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of digital product capabilities, with a strong focus on digital messaging and customer-facing experiences.
Summary:
This role will be responsible for translating business needs into clear product requirements, managing the product backlog, prioritizing feature development, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact digital solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong Product Owner expertise, a solid foundation in Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience delivering digital products and messaging capabilities that improve customer engagement and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the Product Owner for digital product initiatives, driving product vision and execution from concept through delivery
* Partner with business and technical teams to define product goals, requirements, and roadmap priorities
* Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation to support Agile delivery
* Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritized based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility
* Lead feature prioritization and support the development of new digital capabilities and enhancements
* Collaborate closely with Agile/Scrum teams during sprint planning, reviews, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
* Build out and enhance new product features that improve digital customer experiences and messaging effectiveness
* Engage with stakeholders across product, operations, marketing, technology, and business teams to align priorities and drive decision-making
* Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are scalable, customer-focused, and outcome-driven
* Monitor feature performance and product outcomes to support ongoing optimization and continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience working as a (Mid to Senior-level) Product Owner, Digital Product Owner, or similar product management role
* Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
* Hands-on experience writing user stories and defining clear acceptance criteria
* Strong experience with backlog management and prioritization
* Demonstrated success building out new features and enhancing digital products
* Experience with feature prioritization based on customer, business, and technical considerations
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across cross-functional teams
* Experience supporting or owning digital products and/or digital messaging capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with customer communications and engagement strategies
* Familiarity with email and SMS platforms or related customer messaging technologies
* Understanding of customer journey mapping and customer experience optimization
* Ability to interpret analytics and performance data to inform product decisions
* Exposure to AI and automation capabilities within digital product or messaging environments
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
