Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for directing a team of assembly employees in the areas of production, quality and safety to ensure daily goals and standards are being achieved. Effectively communicate to management production successes and opportunities for improvement. Be able to apply Lean tools to drive improvement in all business metrics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Monitor production processes for compliance and best practice.
  • Train assembly team members according to standard work.
  • Communicate effectively and clear direction of the goals and plan to assembly team.
  • Use Lean tools to improve production output and process.
  • Be a leader in Safety, execute safety audits and training.
  • Develop working knowledge of all H-Line processes.
  • Perform team leader routes that promote visibility and accountability.
  • Be a leader in 5S / Managing daily improvement

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED. 1-year certificate from a college or technical school, A.A. or A.S. preferred
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 12 months of assembly manufacturing related experience
3-5 Years Team Leader/Line Supervisory experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, AS/400, and MRP production schedules.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
  • Able to read blueprints, micrometers gauges and mechanical aptitude a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift certification.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment requires hearing protection. Employee is required to wear safety glasses and steel-toed shoes.
