Bermuda Center Psychotherapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders among clients.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that are designed with each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences in mind.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective care.
  • Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Monitor and track client progress, regularly adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care approaches for clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You may also work with vulnerable populations such as refugees, homeless individuals, and victims of domestic violence, providing essential therapeutic support to help them navigate their challenges and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
