Job description

Junior Real Estate Associate Attorney – Pittsburgh, PA

Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Junior Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity for a second- to third-year associate to join a nationally recognized real estate practice and gain hands-on experience working on high-value, complex transactions within a collaborative, growth-oriented team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in commercial real estate transactions, including development, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.

  • Support zoning and land use approvals and real estate finance matters.

  • Conduct due diligence and draft transaction documents under attorney supervision.

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to support ongoing matters across a national platform.

  • Manage multiple assignments with precision, professionalism, and attention to deadlines.


Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • 2–3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactional work.

  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong academic credentials and a commitment to client service.

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.


Compensation

Base Salary: $210,000 – $225,000 per year, commensurate with experience and market factors.
