Description

The Rose is seeking a temporary insurance coordinator for about 3 - 4 month assignment.  Benefits include free TeleMedicine for entire household and matching 401k.

Responsibilities

  • Collection of insurance accounts receivable exceeding 45 days and documentation of same for insurance & balances.
  • Working insurance correspondence, including documentation of same in the billing system and filing appeals.
  • Take patient calls regarding any AR questions, 15 - 30 calls per day
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • File all paperwork related to insurance AR


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of recent computerized medical billing and collections experience
  • Accounting background or experience a plus
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payer payment methods
