Job Summary
As a Commercial HVAC (Sales) Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales, profits, and relationships with Commercial and potential Government clients. A position is currently available for a customer and results-oriented individual who will manage the process and procedure for quoting and providing service sales. The candidate is to focus his/her efforts on selling clients the complete EMCOR Service operations, maintenance, and repair, replacement, and service package, as well as providing contract account management of an existing portfolio support maintenance. This position will be working with the Business Development Manager/Director to fully realize the sales potential within each existing commercial account. A high-level ability to prospect for new business opportunities is expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for developing relationships with potential customers, providing proposals and sales presentations, prospecting for new accounts, providing clients with product services/information and gaining customer approval for contracted/service or project and repair work. Some proposals will come from provided customer leads. This position also has responsibility for maintaining situational awareness of client pricing and payments, Accounts Receivable management, client correspondence, Profit/Loss reports, quality assurance (QA) support, and industry and trade show participation.
  • Establishing relationships with prospective clients.
  • Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leads, leveraging existing relationships). Contacting prospective client point of contact such as the Chief Engineer, Account Managers and Property Managers to introduce yourself and develop future relationships.
  • Working with the Business Development Manager, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors in constantly reviewing and improving commercial account programs to meet targeted objectives.
  • Managing through analysis and solutions-based programs to maximize sales growth, volume and profitability of account clients in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia regions.
  • Preparing and delivering client presentations and business proposals.
  • Developing, writing and reviewing client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using EMCOR Service/Combustioneer Systems standard template and pricing models.
  • Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.

Qualifications:
  • Highschool or GED required
  • 4+ years' experience in HVAC commercial service and sales
  • Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment, is a plus but not required.
  • Customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude.
  • Financial acumen
  • Experience with estimating and budgeting
  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals, is plus but can be developed.
  • Independent decision making is required.
  • Must be comfortable using excel spreadsheets
  • Must be able to travel within 25 miles of the site

Compensation Range: $95.000 - $125,000 annual salary
Other Compensation: Sales are commission eligible with vehicle stipend
