Job Summary

The Enterprise Sales Representative is responsible for accelerating Comcast Business Enterprise Solutions adoption, driving incremental new sales, and increasing overall penetration within defined MES accounts. This role partners closely with sales teams, sales leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute targeted goals, objectives, and selling strategies for each opportunity. The Specialist helps reduce sales cycles, uncover new growth opportunities, and advance revenue, subscriber, and line-of-business performance across Enterprise Solutions. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, key vertical markets, and emerging technologies in order to effectively position Comcast Business Enterprise Solutions in the marketplace.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and targeted account initiatives across identified accounts within the MES distributed enterprise portfolio.

  • Accelerate sales and revenue growth by helping reduce Enterprise sales cycles and advancing qualified opportunities through the funnel.

  • Respond to, engage with, and qualify prospects to create high-quality leads for Enterprise sales teams.

  • Generate and pass qualified leads and interested accounts to the appropriate sales teams for follow-up and opportunity development.

  • Gather customer intelligence, site inventory, and relationship-mapping insights using internal and external tools such as Workbench, Salesforce, LinkedIn, and Sales Navigator.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop campaign scripting, value propositions, and training materials that support targeted sales initiatives.

  • Serve as a subject matter and vertical-market resource for Comcast Business Solutions, including Broadband, Managed Services, VoIP, Ethernet, and Professional Services. Key industry focus areas may include Food & Beverage, Retail, Technology Services, Hospitality, and other priority verticals.

  • Leverage a variety of selling tactics and prospecting activities, including cold calling, social networking, referral development, marketing campaigns, and trade show follow-up, to drive sales activity and solution adoption.

  • Complete a defined number of outbound calls each day to achieve and exceed sales objectives and activity metrics.

  • Respond to inbound sales activity across phone, email, chat, and microsite lead-generation channels.

  • Maintain an accurate sales funnel representing a pipeline of opportunity equal to five times monthly sales objectives.

  • Remain knowledgeable about Comcast Business products, the competitive marketplace, and emerging technology trends.

  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
