About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to join our insurance and financial services agency. This is an ideal opportunity for recently retired individuals, recent college graduates, those recently downsized from corporate or banking sectors, or school teachers looking for a rewarding role. The pay range is $15-$20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle all general administrative tasks within the agency
  • Open and close the office Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Schedule appointments and manage the team calendar
  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Process customer payments accurately
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, and email
  • Mail insurance materials to customers in a timely manner
  • Manage bank deposits and maintain accurate records
  • Write professional letters and emails for customer correspondence

Qualifications:
  • Must obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the workplace
  • Must have the ability to write clear, professional letters and emails
  • Comfortable using phone, email, and scheduling software

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
