  • Proficiency in MS Excel and any ERP software.
  • Experience with credit application analysis and Oracle.

Job Description
As a Credit/Collections Analyst, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring the financial health of the organization through effective credit management and collections activities. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to partner with sales teams to support business growth while mitigating financial risk.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 600-1,000 customer accounts, including single site, multi-site, and corporate retail customers.
  • Monitor accounts daily, assess risk, and make independent credit decisions within established approval authority.
  • Review customer credit applications and financial statements to evaluate creditworthiness through ratio analysis and assessment of financial health.
  • Conduct commercial collections activities, including proactive outbound calls to customers with delinquent balances.
  • Prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency size and risk, focusing on larger balances while using automated tools for smaller accounts.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of collection activity, customer conversations, and follow-up actions.
  • Balance firmness in collections with customer service, maintaining professional relationships while securing timely payment.
  • Partner closely with internal sales teams to support order releases, manage credit holds, and enable continued customer purchasing.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and working capital solutions with retail partners to rehabilitate accounts and retain goodwill.
  • Support a sales-driven organization by aligning credit decisions with business growth objectives while mitigating risk.
  • Work within credit and order management systems across both legacy platforms during ongoing system integration.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Office 365 tools for reporting, analysis, and account management.
  • Adapt quickly to system changes, new processes, and evolving workflows as the organization continues integration efforts.
