  • Managed accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing transactions, monitoring budgets and expenditures, overseeing tuition and fee collections, reconciling credit card payments and refunds, preparing financial reports, and handling deposits and disbursements for school, departmental, and student activity accounts.

  • Managed procurement and inventory operations, including purchasing curriculum materials, textbooks, supplies, uniforms, furniture, and equipment; maintaining supply inventories and stock levels; and overseeing accurate inventory records for school assets.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations in managing the school's facility maintenance, including vendor and contractor relationships

  • Managed school communications by coordinating website and social media updates, distributing newsletters and policy notifications, and communicating with families through email, phone, text, and print materials

Skills and Characteristics

  • A commitment to the mission and core values of Meeting Street Schools, and an unwavering belief that all students can and will succeed

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance competing deadlines

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, school leaders, and external vendors

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of ownership and accountability

  • Ability to develop and manage budgets for multiple departments and projects

Required Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience, or equivalent, in accounts payable, procurement, or operations, with demonstrated expertise in managing budgets

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and budget management software
