Job description

Solvere Technical Group is looking for a Cognitive Performance Specialist (CPS) to join the team at Fort Rucker.

Job Description
The Cognitive Performance Specialist (CPS) enhances aircrew effectiveness by applying advanced mental performance strategies. This role delivers targeted training in cognitive optimization through the CRAFT program, providing instruction, assessments, and education designed to improve mission readiness and overall performance. The CPS contributes to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the human performance program at the assigned location, while integrating cognitive methods into a comprehensive, multidisciplinary support framework.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver cognitive performance training in alignment with the Human Performance curriculum
  • Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance aircrew readiness
  • Support research initiatives and contribute to the development of instructional materials
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience:

  • 2+ years providing cognitive performance services.
  • Experience in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics; aerospace industry, test pilot/astronaut, or similar man-machine high-performance environment.

Education:

  • Masterโ€™s degree in psychology, counseling, or human-related field.
  • Performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Sport Sciences with a specialization in Sport Psychology or similar from an accredited institution/university.

Clearance:

  • Active Secret

Required Certifications:

  • Current certification in basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • External Defibrillator (AED) training.
