POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for all day-to-day warehouse activities including work scheduling, staffing, supervisory tasks (coaching, guiding, counseling, administering discipline) and facilitating data collection and reporting related to performance. Supervises warehouse employees, ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and drives Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage work schedules, payroll, and staffing for hourly and salaried non-exempt employees
  • Provide coaching, training, development, and administer progressive discipline as needed
  • Maintain focus on safety, quality, and productivity performance objectives
  • Evaluate daily workload and manage manpower and equipment utilization
  • Support KPI tracking, variance investigations, and reporting to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain shift logs, production summaries, overtime, and downtime reports
  • Ensure adherence to GMPs and all safety, FDA/USDA, and environmental standards
  • Manage warehouse workflow and implement improvement ideas identified by the team
  • Provide real-time performance data and reporting to support operational decisions
  • Utilize warehouse systems such as SAP, Kronos, Excel, Access, and other tools

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment preferred
  • Experience with process improvement (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen) and change management
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Access, RF systems, and warehouse systems
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and influence others
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Experience with labor standards and data collection/reporting
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime as required, and travel up to 10%
