Salary Range: $77,000 – $124,000 annually + Comprehensive Benefits


About the Opportunity

Step into a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in medical coding and revenue cycle operations drives accuracy, compliance, and financial performance. As the Coding Services Manager, you will lead a dynamic team, shape operational strategy, and ensure excellence in professional fee coding within a fast-paced healthcare environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage daily operations of physician office and professional fee coding services
  • Ensure accurate, compliant coding aligned with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and regulatory standards
  • Drive quality and performance through audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with leadership to define strategic priorities and optimize unit operations
  • Oversee coding accuracy, compliance, and revenue cycle efficiency
  • Provide training and education to coding teams based on audit findings and industry updates
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve documentation, reduce denials, and enhance workflows
  • Foster a high-performing, engaged, and accountable team environment


What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of coding/auditing experience in an acute care setting
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role


Certifications (One or more required):

  • CPC (AAPC)
  • CCS, CCS-P (AHIMA)
  • RHIT or RHIA
  • Or multiple specialty coding certifications


Key Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of coding systems: ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/E&M, HCPCS
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing regulations
  • Revenue cycle management: charge capture, audits, denials, and documentation improvement
  • Data analysis, reporting, and performance optimization
  • Budgeting and operational planning
  • EHR systems and coding tools (e.g., 3M 360 or similar platforms)
