Join Our Team!
Grand Peaks Medical is looking for a dependable, long-term Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health Certified Coder to become a valued member of our growing team! These are full-time, in-person positions based at our Idaho Falls clinic.

Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Weโ€™re looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, efficient, and ready to thrive in a supportive and fast-paced healthcare environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Process a wide range of medical claims
  • Create claims, perform medical coding risk assessment
  • Assign codes for diagnoses and procedures
  • Ensures accurate billing and reimbursement
  • Good understanding of ICD-10 codes, maximizing specified diagnosis codes, CPT and modifiers
  • Understand and apply relevant laws
  • Knowledge of OB billing preferred
  • In depth understanding and training in areas of medical terminology, anatomy and coding guidelines

  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have experience and training in medical coding, or equivalent experience in patient care or the health insurance industry
  • Certified Coder certificate is required
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Must be able to train in our St. Anthony location
