EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience as a Code Enforcement Officer or two years of experience performing inspections, investigations, abatements, land use, zoning, building, public safety, related code enforcement or administration of justice work. The completion of up to one year of college (30 semester units) in a related field from an accredited college or university may substitute for up to one year of experience

Experience, Training & Licenses THE POSITION The Code Enforcement division is focused on enhancing public safety, quality of life, and positive relationships within the community. The Code Enforcement Officer will serve as an ambassador and champion for the city and will be integral to reaching this goal through education and awareness, while taking enforcement action only when compliance is not achieved.
