Days/Hours of Work: Monday- Friday; 8 am -430pm.
Job Summary
The Distribution Center Administrator provides administrative support in accordance with standard administrative office procedures.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support for the financial cycle as it relates to Accounts Payable and Receivables, including processing invoices, submitting requests and research. Uses the company credit card for purchasing and submits expense reports.
  • Supports the Hometown by processing orders and hotshots, making requested revisions to orders, and keying donations. Coordinate the employee sales process including communication, collecting/keying orders, and receiving payments.
  • Performs timekeeping tasks including keying missed time punch errors, entering and validating schedules, and maintaining documentation for internal audit.
  • Process on-boarding for new hires which may include presenting company information, collecting required paperwork, administering safety training, setting up phones or other equipment, and enrolling in company systems and portals.
  • Process inventory functions including reconciling weekly inventory counts, shipping and receiving inbound loads, managing shipping schedule, performing the inventory daily checklist and researching variances.
  • Provides general administrative support and project assistance. Examples may include employee events, visitor administration, managing office equipment, collecting/trading out phones, distributing safety reports and scheduling as needed.
  • Check drivers in: reviewing load in for drivers and performing load modifies. Verify returned product is coded correctly and adjusted if necessary.
  • Performs route settlement functions.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience is required.
  • Prior experience with administrative support in a fast-paced, office environment.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs including Word and Excel. SAP experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of processing invoices and reconciling statements preferred.

Pay: $18.00 an hour
