REPORTS TO: Program Director
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coaching Manager will play a key role in managing and supporting our team of 30+ instructors across the Nashville territories. The Coaching Manager is responsible for managing instructor performance through regular evaluation and performance conversations. In this role, you will work with the Program Director. You will be responsible for ensuring that all instructors meet the standards of program quality and creating a liberating culture within the team and the organization. We are looking for a motivated individual who understands coaching, has exceptional relational skills, is extremely organized and passionate about our mission. This candidate must reside in the Nashville area

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Manage instructor performance through regular evaluations, field observations, quarterly evaluations, development plans, recognition, and performance improvement. Provide feedback on instructors to all stake holders.
• Partner with the Recruiting & Training Manager to identify seasonal staffing needs.
• Support hiring efforts through final interviews and onboarding as needed.
• Develop strong relationships with part-time instructors; identify key individuals that can grow within our organization
• Responsible for schedule completion each season
• Lead regular instructor meetings to discuss new initiatives, trends, etc.
• Create initiatives that further elevate our core values and provide a positive experience for our part-time instructors
• Work with operations team to identify key performance indicators that improve NPS scores and share results with team of instructors
• Weekly meetings with Operations to discuss and analyze program quality and needs Coaching
• Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children's lives and look for individuals that are safety conscious, caring, organized, responsible and energetic.
• You will be the face of Soccer Shots and responsible for executing incredible sessions that showcase what Soccer Shots is all about to new instructors and key stake holders.
• Coach up to 5-10 sessions per week per season. Where possible, use coaching sessions as training opportunities for instructors.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum 1-3 years of event planning or customer service experience
• Experience working or supervising part-time employees
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in G-Suite and MS Office
• Warm, motivated and approachable personality
ROLE/CLASSIFICATION: The job description above is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Working Hours/Location/Schedule: The position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week or more depending on business needs. This position has weekend and weeknight requirements as many of our programs take place during these times. This position will be working hybrid (on the field and remote) in the territory. You will work out details of your weekly agenda with the Program Director.
Performance Evaluation and Reviews:
Soccer Shots will perform an initial review after 60 days.
Compensation: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
