Job description

Lead Performance Manager
Build a High-Performing Team | Earn Up to $150,000+ | Family-Owned Since 1929
Great Dealerships Don't Win Because They Have More Leads.
They Win Because They Convert More of Them.
Every month, Farris Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram receives more than 1,000 customer inquiries from buyers actively shopping for their next vehicle.
We're looking for an experienced leader who knows how to build a team that responds faster, communicates better, sets more appointments, and converts more opportunities into customers.
If you're passionate about coaching people, improving performance, and creating accountability, we'd like to have a confidential conversation.
Why Farris?
Family-Owned for Nearly 100 Years
At Farris, we're not a corporate dealership where managers spend their day in meetings.
We're a family-owned organization that believes great leaders deserve the freedom, support, and resources to build exceptional teams.
You'll work directly with ownership and executive leadership to improve one of the most important areas of our business.
When you succeed, the entire dealership succeeds.
A Rare Leadership Opportunity
Most dealerships struggle because they don't have enough opportunities.
That's not our challenge.
Our challenge is maximizing the opportunities we already have.
You'll lead a department responsible for:
  • Over 1,000 customer inquiries every month
  • Internet leads
  • Phone opportunities
  • Text conversations
  • Appointment generation
  • CRM follow-up
  • Lead conversion performance

This role has a direct impact on dealership growth.
What You'll Lead
As Lead Performance Manager, you'll:
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing lead conversion team
  • Improve appointment-setting performance
  • Monitor CRM activity and accountability
  • Coach phone skills, texting, and follow-up strategies
  • Improve speed-to-lead and customer engagement
  • Track key performance metrics and identify coaching opportunities
  • Partner with Sales Managers to improve appointment-to-sale conversion
  • Create a culture of urgency, professionalism, and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people just as much as improving numbers.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has experience leading inside sales, BDC, internet sales, customer success, or lead development teams.
Experience in automotive is preferred, but we also welcome candidates from high-performing sales organizations.
You'll be successful if you have:
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong coaching and accountability skills
  • CRM experience
  • Excellent communication
  • Process discipline
  • High energy
  • A passion for continuous improvement

Compensation
Top Managers Earn Up to $150,000+ Per Year
We offer:
  • Competitive compensation plan
  • Performance bonuses
  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Strong executive support
  • Long-term stability
  • Family-owned leadership

Your success will be measured by the growth of the team you build.
Benefits
  • No Sundays
  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Company-matched 401(k)
  • Paid vacation
  • Paid professional training
  • Employee discounts

Build Something Exceptional
At Farris, our mission is simple:
Provide the common man safe and reliable transportation.
That mission begins with creating exceptional customer experiences from the very first conversation.
If you're looking for a leadership opportunity where your ideas matter, your team can thrive, and your work directly impacts the success of an entire dealership, we'd like to meet you.
Apply today. All inquiries will be handled with complete confidentiality.
