If you're looking for a job that doesn't feel like a job; that's a community of like-minded individuals with a passion for impacting children in our community through the game of soccer; that prioritizes relationships, culture, and fun; where you can act silly - pretend to be pirates, astronauts, or animals; give lots of high fives and encouragement; be a superhero to children on a daily basis - this could be the job for you. Soccer Shots DFW South is a youth soccer organization for children 2 - 8 years old that works in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces, and we're looking for coaches.
We've got the curriculum, the equipment, and the apparel - you bring your enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer! As a Soccer Shots soccer coach, you will be the face of our organization. You will be out in the community running our 30 - 45 minute soccer sessions for children at schools, parks, and public spaces, and will be responsible for creating an awesome experience for each and every child.
It's fun for sure, but it's also a lot of work, and we have high expectations. But, if you're up for the challenge, have experience working with children, and want to be a part of an organization that's making a difference every day - fill out an application!
Other details:
  • Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
  • Must have your own car, and it's reliable
  • Ability to work with little supervision (once you get your schedule, you'll be expected to show up, on time, at every location each week)
  • You'll commit to a minimum of one year - this is very important given the age of children we work with
  • As a full time coach you will coach a minimum of 30-35 sessions PER WEEK when in season
  • Seasons happen 40+ weeks out of the year.
  • When not coaching you will be expected to take initiative with administrative tasks to continue to scale and grow the business
  • Coaching Saturday mornings will be required for this role

Are you looking for a great job where the work is actually fun?
Do you want to work somewhere you can get real job experience while making a difference in your community?
Are you passionate about sports, education, being a positive role model and impacting young children?
You've come to the right place! We change lives. We help children learn, grow and meet their goals. We care.
