What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Cncf position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) Engineer or Specialist role, you need a strong background in cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, and software development, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and certifications like CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) are highly valuable. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills help you stand out when collaborating on complex cloud-native projects. These abilities are crucial to effectively design, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable cloud infrastructures in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

What are some typical challenges faced by CNCF engineers, and how can they successfully overcome them?

CNCF engineers often encounter challenges such as scaling distributed systems, ensuring security in dynamic environments, and keeping up with the rapidly evolving ecosystem of cloud-native tools. To address these obstacles, successful engineers prioritize continuous learning, leverage automation for efficiency, and actively participate in knowledge sharing within their teams and communities. Job description

Description
ScaleOps, the leader in real-time automated cloud resource management, is revolutionizing how DevOps teams manage their cloud-native application infrastructures. Backed by venture capital and software industry titans, ScaleOps' platform removes the organizational friction between application owners and DevOps teams by fully automating the resource management process to meet real-time demand.
The ScaleOps platform dynamically manages the application's resource allocation, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The result is improved application performance, 60%- 80% cloud cost savings, and a fully automated allocation process.
With well over $80 million in backing, ScaleOps has seen tremendous business growth, attracting global industry leaders to its customer base. ScaleOps automatically manages the production environments of over 100 enterprises, including Salesforce, Wiz, Adobe, DocuSign, H&M, and Freddie Mac.
We're looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to lead in-person and digital event efforts, amplify brand awareness globally, and generate demand. This is a pipeline-focused role with strong ownership over field programs, ecosystem partnerships, and localized marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute global events including conferences, roundtables, meetups, and co-branded partner activities.
  • Own logistics, budget, content, booth design, and execution for physical and digital events.
  • Run global digital events such as webinars, virtual meetups, and thought leadership sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to align event strategy with regional pipeline goals.
  • Build brand presence in the US developer and DevOps market through strategic activations.
  • Track and report on event performance, ROI, and post-event follow-up workflows.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of field marketing experience in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end events that generate measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of the US cloud-native and DevOps landscape.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Growth teams.
  • Resourceful, fast-moving, and highly organized.
  • Experience in managing sponsorship logistics at AWS and CNCF events.
