HOUSEKEEPER

Riviera Club – Indianapolis, Indiana

I. Position

Housekeeper

II. Job Summary (Essential Functions)

To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation throughout the Riviera Club facilities, ensuring a welcoming and pristine environment for members, guests, and staff. This role supports the Club’s commitment to exceptional hospitality across clubhouse areas, restrooms, event spaces, pool facilities, and common areas.

IV. Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

  1. Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas including restrooms, locker rooms, outdoor spaces, dining areas, event spaces, offices, and common areas to maintain Club standards.
  2. Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces using appropriate equipment and cleaning products.
  3. Replenish supplies in restrooms, locker rooms, and other areas (ex. paper products, soap, towels)
  4. Report maintenance issues, damages, or needed repairs promptly to the supervisor or maintenance department.
  5. Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures per Club policy and regulatory requirements.
  6. Assist with deep cleaning, special event setup/teardown preparation, and seasonal deep cleans as needed.
  7. Maintain cleanliness around pool, deck, and outdoor areas during operating seasons.
  8. Support other housekeeping team members and provide coverage as required
  9. Participate in training on new products, techniques, and Club standards.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Clubhouse Manager or General Manager.
