What does a SMV Driver do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Operates a motor vehicle and plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our beverages to customers. May load, unload, and stock beverage products. Builds and maintains a positive relationship with our customers. Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license. Ability to operate a pallet jack.

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri
Pay: $27.85/HR
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate and maneuver delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations. Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road uses, and the cargo.
  • Safely load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage. May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested by the store. Pick up and return pallets, shells, and assigned product at each delivery location.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays or issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally.
  • Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationship with store managers and staff.
  • Complete all assigned training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • CDL Learners Permit (CLP) required
  • Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements.
  • Must be able to operate portable scanner & printer
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day.
