Now Hiring: HR Specialist 3 – Plano, TX (Onsite)

We are hiring an experienced HR Specialist 3 for a 12-month onsite contract opportunity in Plano, TX.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: HR Specialist 3

  • Location: Plano, TX

  • Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2

  • Duration: 12 Months

  • Work Schedule: Fully Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage U.S. Leave of Absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, Parental, Military, and Personal Leave.

  • Manage ADA interactive processes and workplace accommodation requests.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations.

  • Create and maintain leave events in Workday and process return-to-work activities.

  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, HR, Legal, managers, and employees.

  • Work with third-party leave administrators and manage case escalations.

  • Educate employees and managers on leave policies and accommodation processes.

  • Monitor leave activity and identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Maintain leave policies, procedures, documentation, and compliance records.

  • Handle highly confidential employee information professionally.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Leave of Absence, Disability, and ADA accommodation administration.

  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, PWFA, USERRA, and state leave regulations.

  • Experience managing the ADA interactive process.

  • Experience working with a third-party leave administrator.

  • Experience with Workday or comparable HCM systems.

  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CLMS certification.

  • Multi-state U.S. workforce experience.

  • Experience with Reliance Matrix/Reliance Standard or another third-party leave administrator.
