POSITION SUMMARY:

The Information Security Analyst II at the Marvin Group will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the organization from all vectors of cyber-attacks including and not limited to network, hardware, software, cloud, E-Mail, insider threat and other forms of potential infiltrations and hackers. This position requires the analyst to actively respond to and quell cyberattacks. The ideal Information Security Analyst II has experience in Endpoint Security, Network Security, and experience using industry tools designed to keep an organization safe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls.
  • Monitor systems and networks for security threats
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports, communicating system status.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to secure infrastructure
  • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations
  • Ensuring that fellow employees are following proper security practices, which may include direct engagement.
