Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Technical Lab -  Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Evansville IN 47714. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

Job NameTechnical Lab - Lab Assistant

Location: Evansville IN 47714

Duration: 3+ months + Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift: Mon-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm with rotating weekends.

Pay rate: $18 /hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
  • Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
  • Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
  • Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
