The Opportunity

Join us today as a Client Insurance Specialist! HUB Puerto Rico's Client Insurance Specialist works closely with the Account Executive to ensure top-tier service. Will partner with the Client Executives, Account Executives, and the Senior Vice President to manage and service clients' insurance needs while actively engaging with insurance companies to ensure efficient solutions. A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented mindset are essential to comply with our service standards. A background in Property & Casualty and/or Commercial Lines is a plus, as the knowledge and client service skills gained in those areas translate well into this role.

A day in the life...

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, inquisitive, well-organized, honest, and adaptable person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the monthlyrenewalprocessand provide policy and coverage information as changes occur upon inquiry.

  • Acquireunderstanding ofexisting and newclients' insuranceobjectivesand critically analyzes and compares insurance plans todeterminesuitability.

  • Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that mayimpact clients.

  • Work independently and makeappropriate recommendationsto clients independent of manager approval.

  • Maintain client and contract records within the Epic program and ensure accuracy on policies.

  • Following up with insurance companies to ensure pending matters are successfully resolvedas well as withguarantors and clients to ensuretimelyresponses.

  • Assist clients with requests (including certificates of insurance and vouchers).

  • Acting as liaison between HUB Puerto Rico's internal departments and the clients to address any requests.

  • Monitor policies and contract deadlines as well as other documentation as needed.

  • Support on special projects

  • Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products.

What you will need for success

  • Associate or bachelor'sdegreerequired

  • Active P&C license

  • At least5yearsof relevant professional experiencein the insuranceindustry, particularly in construction

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

  • Experience with EPIC software is a plus
