Global Head of Alpha Client Solution Managers (CSM)
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a senior, globally minded leader with a proven track record of translating business vision and client outcomes into scalable enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep experience aligning business requirements with technology and service capabilities through close collaboration with product leaders, business architects, and solution architects-ideally within a software, platform, or professional services environment.
This role requires comfort influencing and leading across global, matrixed organizations without formal line authority, operating effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and contributing directly to the execution of State Street's strategy and the continued evolution of Alpha CSM product capabilities.
Why This Role Is Important
This role sits within a Alpha Product and E2E Solutions, supporting Alpha, State Street's open architecture, front-to-back investment platform. Alpha CSMs define and align client outcomes across the entire investment lifecycle by integrating data, technology, and services across trusted providers.
As the platform continues to scale globally, this role is critical to ensuring consistent, high-quality solution design and execution across regions, asset classes, and client segments-while balancing standardization with client-specific outcomes.
What You Will Be Responsible For
As Global Head of Alpha Client Solution Managers, you are accountable for the teams that create clients end-to-end design, coordination into BUAT, and delivery of Alpha solutions across State Street's product and service ecosystem. You will operate as the global leader, overseeing managers and client solution leads, and providing regular visibility to executive stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Success in this role requires broad expertise in asset management , enterprise solution architecture, and large-scale delivery, combined with strong strategic judgment and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
You will be accountable for designing and driving globally scalable models for fit-for-purpose Client Alpha solutions, including:
  • Client Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique requirements, and effectively communicate the value of our solutions and using our standards as much as possible.
  • Client Workflow Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Platform Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on our front-to-back-office platform and its capabilities.
  • Client Data Analysis: Leverage data analysis techniques to inform solution design and identify potential risks and challenges.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts by providing consultative guidance to prospective clients.
  • Client Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions leveraging our front-to-back-office platform.
  • Target Operating Model Design Walkthroughs - Lead walkthroughs of operating model expectations by phase for clients

  • Strong understanding of global financial markets and investment management processes, including middle- and back-office functions
  • Degree in finance, economics, technology, or an analytical discipline preferred, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficiency with Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
