Job description

Are you a people person who loves animals? We’re looking for a warm, organized Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our veterinary clinic. You’ll be the first point of contact for pet owners and their animals — and a key part of making every visit smooth and stress-free.


What You'll Do:

  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet clients and patients at the front desk
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and manage the clinic calendar
  • Process check-ins, update patient records, and handle billing and payment collection
  • Relay accurate medical information between clients and veterinary staff
  • Support pet owners through emotionally sensitive moments — from routine visits to end-of-life care
  • Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and welcoming


What We're Looking For:

  • Genuine love for animals and empathy for pet owners
  • Strong communication skills — phone, in-person, and written
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort with basic computer systems and scheduling software
  • Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical office experience a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Qualifications: 

  • Problem Solving Abilities:
    • As a CSR, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a key role in ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. We are seeking an individual with exceptional problem-solving skills to navigate a variety of client situations and provide solutions that prioritize the well-being of our patients.
  • Adaptability: 
    • Quickly assess and adapt to unforeseen challenges in a veterinary environment. Demonstrate flexibility in handling diverse client needs and unexpected situations.
  • Effective Communication: 
    • Clearly convey information to clients regarding treatment plans, pricing, and other relevant details. Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure accurate and timely communication.


Schedule:

  • Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. Shifts generally are 7:00am-6:00pm, although some opening and closing shifts will be necessary. A partial kennel shift will be required once a month.
