Job Summary
The client is seeking an experienced Client Partner / Account Manager with deep expertise in EdTech and Digital Learning. The selected candidate will manage key US client relationships, lead globally distributed teams, and deliver value through AI-native solutions, digital content services, and modern learning platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients, ensuring consistent engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term partnerships by understanding curriculum needs, platform challenges, and strategic learning goals.
  • Drive account growth through cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the client's content, data, and engineering portfolios.
P&L Management
  • Own annual P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and revenue growth.
  • Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize operational efficiencies across onshore and offshore teams.
  • Prevent account churn and improve delivery cost structures.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with client learning objectives and business growth goals.
  • Ensure delivery excellence in digital publishing, platform modernization, and data engineering projects.
  • Stay ahead of EdTech trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and personalized learning pathways.
Domain & Technical Expertise
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of higher education, K-12 publishing, assessments, and digital content standards such as LTI, QTI, and SCORM.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights on Learning Experience Design (LXD) and modern EdTech frameworks.
Solutioning, Data & AI Innovation
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design innovative learning solutions leveraging analytics, Generative AI, and SaaS platforms.
  • Drive adoption of learning analytics, dashboards, and predictive models to improve student retention.
  • Recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native architectures aligned with client objectives.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Partnerships, or Business Development within EdTech, Higher Education, or Digital Publishing.
Leadership
  • Proven experience leading large, globally distributed teams and managing complex delivery engagements.
Commercial Expertise
  • Direct ownership of a $5-6 million P&L, with a demonstrated track record of revenue growth and profitability.
Industry Knowledge
