Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate and manage daily job site operations for efficiency and quality.

  • Enforce and maintain strict safety standards and procedures.

  • Identify basic landscape plants and understand plant care.

  • Basic Pruning Knowledge is ideal.

  • Maintain accurate records field documentation.(Timekeeping (workday), Vehicle Inspection Form, Service Notification Cards)

  • Operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.

  • Safely transport crew and equipment to job sites.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in the landscape industry, preferably in a maintenance/garden environment.

  • Demonstrate acceptable level of basic plant recognition and horticultural knowledge.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operation, including but not limited to, all lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, pruning shears, etc.)

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and practicing safe work behaviors

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with crew, clients, and other associates.

  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.

  • Must possess a valid Illinois driver's license.

  • Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
