Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and energetic Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon. This individual will be the face of our business, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing staff schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a seamless client experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Greet and check in clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage appointment bookings via phone, email, and online system
  • Handle client concerns or complaints with diplomacy and efficiency
  • Promote retail products and upsell services when appropriate
Staff Management & Scheduling

  • Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage
  • Assist with on boarding, training, and mentoring team members
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, goals, and feedback
  • Support a positive team culture and address interpersonal issues as needed
Administrative & Financial Oversight

  • Maintain daily cash register and reconcile end-of-day transactions
  • Manage client records and ensure confidentiality
  • Oversee payroll submissions and staff timekeeping
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue targets
Inventory & Supply Management

  • Monitor inventory levels for products and supplies
  • Place orders with vendors and manage deliveries
  • Conduct regular stock checks and ensure storage areas are organized
Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist with salon promotions, events, and marketing campaigns
  • Manage social media accounts (optional depending on role scope)
  • Track client satisfaction and encourage return visits and referrals
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a salon, spa, or hospitality environment
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in computer skills, salon software (e.g., Mindbody, Vagaro, or similar)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A passion for beauty, wellness, and delivering high-quality service
Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Fast-paced salon environment with frequent client interaction
  • Must be available to work weekends (Fri, Sat)
