Senior Sales Business Development

Equipment Finance & Working Capital

Prime Capital Source is hiring a high-performing sales professional with direct experience in working capital and equipment finance to originate, structure, and close commercial finance deals with small and mid-sized businesses nationwide.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will drive new business development while managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through funding. You will work with business owners, executives, and referral partners to identify financing needs, structure solutions, and close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through a mix of inbound leads, self-sourced opportunities, referral relationships, and outbound prospecting
  • Originate, structure, and close equipment finance and working capital transactions
  • Build relationships with business owners, C-suite leaders, and equipment vendors to create repeat business
  • Present and explain financing options clearly, including pricing, terms, and credit considerations
  • Manage a high-activity pipeline with urgency, follow-up discipline, and strong conversion focus
  • Oversee the full transaction lifecycle from initial outreach through funding
  • Track pipeline activity, deal progression, and revenue performance in CRM
  • Partner internally to move deals efficiently while maintaining a strong client experience

Required experience

  • At least 2 years of direct sales experience in equipment finance, working capital, commercial lending, or alternative business finance
  • Proven success closing funded deals and meeting or exceeding sales or revenue goals
  • Experience structuring transactions across varied credit profiles
  • Ability to prospect, build pipeline, and manage both inbound and outbound activity
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills
  • Confidence speaking with business owners, founders, and senior decision-makers
  • Working knowledge of equipment finance structures, lease types, loan terms, and amortization concepts
  • Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce and standard business software
