The Cosmetics Client Development Manager leads with passion and purpose, overseeing all aspects of the assigned luxury cosmetics brand while creating a warm, inclusive environment where customers and team members feel truly valued. They coach and support a team of Beauty Advisors, empowering them to consistently deliver exceptional, customer-centric service. By building strong connections with clients, understanding their beauty and style preferences, and leveraging deep product knowledge and artistry, the Client Development Manager creates meaningful and memorable experiences. Whether providing personalized consultations, helping customers discover the perfect product, or mentoring team members toward their goals, they bring a positive presence and a commitment to genuine hospitality that elevates the entire department.
What You Will Do
  • Leverage expertise in product knowledge, customer service, and artistry to guide and inspire the team-creating a culture of hospitality where every interaction feels personal, polished, and memorable.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by building strong, trust-based client relationships while driving sustainable business growth and energizing the brand.
  • Provide ongoing coaching on clienteling tools to help the team execute personalized follow-ups and experiences, using data and insights to support client retention.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and creating authentic, lasting connections with beauty and fragrance customers.
  • Use selling techniques that prioritize client needs and deliver genuine, elevated experiences while achieving personal sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance across daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual sales metrics.
  • Plan and execute business-driving events to meet department goals.
  • Oversee the presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock to ensure a premium shopping experience.
  • Build strong partnerships with brand representatives and vendors to enhance the customer experience and drive shared success.
  • Manage vendor events and promotions, including scheduling and execution, ensuring all elements contribute to a customer-focused experience.
  • Ensure full compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Who You Are
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands. Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs.
