Job description

LOCAL STORE MARKETING COORDINATOR

Type: Full-Time, 32–40 hrs/week
Compensation: $22–$26/hr
Location: Regional (LA/Inland Empire or Orange County)

JOB SUMMARY

7 Leaves Cafe is looking for an energetic, community-minded individual to join our marketing team as a Local Store
Marketing Coordinator. This is a field-facing, relationship-driven role responsible for activating the 7 Leaves brand
within an assigned region - connecting stores to their communities through meaningful, high-impact local marketing
programs.


The LSM Coordinator works closely with the Experiential Marketing Manager to plan and execute activations, build
local partnerships, and support store-level marketing efforts. This person is equal parts community ambassador,
event coordinator, and brand steward - someone who genuinely enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and
making things happen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Field Marketing & Activations
• Plan and execute local marketing activations across assigned stores, including surprise & delight drops,
sponsorships/donations, new store launches, and pop-up/vendoring events
• Independently identify and propose community events and in-store activation opportunities within the region
• Coordinate staffing, logistics, and on-site execution - either by participating directly or empowering store teams to
lead with support
• Serve as the on-site brand representative, ensuring every activation reflects 7 Leaves' standards, energy, and
values

Community & Partnership Development
• Proactively solicit and cultivate relationships with local businesses, schools, non-profits, and community
organizations
• Identify partnership opportunities aligned with target demographics and brand positioning
• Submit partnership proposals and collaboration ideas to the Experiential Marketing Manager for alignment and
sign-off
• Maintain a regional partnership pipeline and track activation outcomes

Reporting & Communication
• Submit post-activation recaps within 7 days of each event, including performance observations and
recommendations
• Provide monthly updates on regional activity, community trends, and competitive observations
• Conduct trade area research and local competitive analysis to surface growth opportunities
• Update and maintain activation tracking in ClickUp; participate in biweekly check-ins with the Experiential
Marketing Manager
• Serve as a communication bridge between store teams and the Marketing department

Store Support & Collaboration
• Build working relationships with Store Managers and District Managers to align the LSM calendar with store
operations and needsSupport new store openings with field marketing coordination as directed
• Assist with in-store marketing materials, point-of-purchase installations, and promotional execution
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Digital, and other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS


Education
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; or currently working toward
an undergraduate degree

Experience
• 1–2 years of experience in local store marketing, field marketing, community management, or event coordination
- preferably within a multi-unit restaurant or retail brand
• Demonstrated experience in outside sales, community outreach, or brand activation is a plus

Skills & Competencies
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable representing a brand in a wide variety of community settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal, and in-person
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activations and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to think critically about marketing opportunities - balancing realistic execution with creative ambition
• Exceptional follow-through and ability to recap results in a clear, actionable format
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools (ClickUp or similar)
• Ability to interpret basic POS and sales data as it relates to marketing performance
• Graphic design knowledge a plus (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism in community-facing situations

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Hybrid schedule: approximately 70% field/travel, 30% remote
• Biweekly in-person check-ins with the Experiential Marketing Manager
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during activations
