  • Clerical Office Administrative Assistant
    Stewart Moving & Storage is seeking a Clerical Office Administrative Assistant for our Dover, DE Port warehouse location. This position provides administrative and clerical support to the warehouse and office operations, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and timely processing of freight documentation.
    The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and paperwork, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. General knowledge of freight shipping and receiving is a plus.
    Responsibilities
    • Process and enter freight bills accurately and in a timely manner
    • Review freight documentation for completeness and accuracy
    • Perform general clerical and data-entry duties
    • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
    • Respond to emails and provide timely communication to customers, vendors, and internal staff
    • Enter and maintain information in company systems and spreadsheets
    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting
    • File and organize documents and freight records
    • Assist with shipping and receiving-related administrative tasks
    • Provide general administrative support to warehouse management and staff
    • Maintain accurate records and follow established office procedures
    • Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, vendors, and coworkers
