What You'll Do

  • Managing the full lifecycle of property liability claims under the guidance of a Claims Supervisor.
  • Conducting thorough investigations to evaluate liability, damages, and exposure.
  • Interpreting policy coverage and drafting clear, professional coverage correspondence.
  • Communicating coverage determinations effectively to policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiating claims to resolution with sound judgment and strong business acumen.
  • Managing litigated claims, including appointing and directing defense counsel.
  • Driving litigation strategy proactively toward efficient and fair resolution.
  • Participating in mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate, well-documented claim files.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident negotiation skills and sound decision-making ability.
