We're Hiring

Overview
An established engineering group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support the delivery of infrastructure and land development projects. This role focuses on coordinating project activities, supporting design efforts, and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Projects commonly include municipal water and wastewater systems, roadway improvements, stormwater design, dams, and site development.

Key Responsibilities
• Partner with clients to understand project objectives and define achievable outcomes
• Assist in preparing site layouts, engineering calculations, and technical documentation
• Oversee project progress to ensure schedule and budget targets are met
• Support proposal development including scope and fee structure
• Evaluate design options and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for civil projects
• Represent projects in meetings, including coordination with boards, agencies, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors throughout project lifecycle
• Contribute to business development and client relationship efforts

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license preferred or EIT with 5+ years of experience
• Background in site development across residential, commercial, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater systems, roadway design, and utilities
• Experience preparing construction documents and permitting packages
• Familiarity with zoning and land use regulations
• Experience with retaining walls is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required
