Job description

As the Senior Citrix Engineer, the individual will maintain and manage Citrix applications. The administrator will also install and update Citrix farms, design and plan Citrix NetScalar environments, and develop the cloud infrastructure that the Citrix farms run on. In this role, the Citrix Engineer will provide technical support for incident response, service degradations, outages, and other interruptions. In addition, the Citrix Engineer will provide tiers I, II, and III support to Citrix XenDesktop (VDi) environments, including configuring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in both Citrix PVS and Windows Server environments while investigating hardware and software problems related to the Citrix infrastructure, and perform corrective actions. This is a Hybrid role located in Miami, FL, or Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities * Performs all aspects of Citrix design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of all production Citrix systems * Supports applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure * Makes architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Citrix environments * Maintenance, monitoring, upgrading, troubleshooting * Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the servers in Citrix * Administration on Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image maintenance, updates, and upgrades * Configures, deploys, monitors, and maintenance of VDI tasks * Following vendor and industry best practices for cloud and software configuration * Draws upon concepts of tools, technologies, and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties * Has technical knowledge and depth in maintaining MS Operating System * Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office Required Qualifications/Education and Experience * Must have a valid Security+ Certification * Must have a Secret Security clearance or higher, and be eligible for Top-Secret clearance * Certification in Citrix or equivalent work experience relative to supporting XenApp and XenDesktop platforms * Minimum 10 or more years of experience with designing, building, and managing Citrix Environments. * Must have hands-on experience in Citrix Farm Migrations, Citrix management tools like Director, and especially RCA preparation * Must have hands-on experience in ITIL processes, Incident management and change management, Studio * Experience in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScaler * Experience in Building and configuring Citrix Farms * Experienced with deployment of servers utilizing PVS and/or MCS in a virtual environment * Working knowledge of Insight and Director monitoring platforms * Must have and maintain Secret Security clearance or higher OSC Edge delivers a total rewards package that we know will attract, engage and retain top talent.
