Job description

Overview
As a member of our Citrix Engineering team, you will own, maintain, and support high-volume, large-scale, highly available virtual application and desktop platforms used by traders, analysts, operations, and other corporate users in a fast-paced, global trading environment.
This role will challenge you to find new ways to optimize our multi-site global Citrix environment to improve performance and user experience, applying strong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will:
  • Design, implement, manage, and support a global, on-premises Citrix infrastructure
  • Provide direct support, response, and troubleshooting as issues arise
  • Work closely with business and technology teams to understand how technology enables our trading and help implement new solutions or scale existing solutions
  • Develop automation and observability tools to manage and monitor our dynamic and growing environment

What we're looking for
  • 2+ years of experience with Citrix CVAD environments
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus, ELK or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of the Windows Server operating systems, networking concepts and virtualization technologies
  • A proactive, creative problem solver who seeks out issues, collaborates across teams, and communicates clearly
  • Passion for creating new and innovative solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline
