Job Description
Howard Technology Solutions is looking for a highly qualified Sr. Network Presales Engineer to provide pre and post sale support for Cisco networking products. The ideal candidate will have a very detailed understanding of network principals and fundamentals. They will be very experienced in building, troubleshooting or modifying switch configurations, IP address schemes, VLans, Subnetting and have strong communication skills. This engineer will be able to talk to an audience of varying levels of technical knowledge to convey proposed products and services to assist them with their technological needs. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience and/or certifications with at least two of the following types of network infrastructure:
• Cisco CCIE or CCDE preferred
• Cisco CCNP will be considered
Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will possess the ability to function within a team environment and must possess strong inter-personnel skills. This position will encompass remote customer support, traveling to meet with new and existing customers and onsite installations as needed. Candidates possess the ability to communicate with our customers and our sales team to manage new and existing customer projects.
