Job Summary:
ICONMA is an IT Services and Consultant company seeking a Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5) for their Durham, NC location. The role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting routing protocols, optimizing configurations, and ensuring network security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols and switch configurations.
• Optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies.
• Ensure network security by applying best practices and performing regular audits.
• Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents.
• Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patch management.
