Job description

Our client, is expanding their technology infrastructure across Florida and is looking for aLevel 1 Network Engineerto support and optimize network operations across our statewide footprint.

As a Level 1 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the support, and documentation of Meraki-based networking infrastructure across multiple field locations. This is a fully onsite position ideal for candidates who enjoy being on-site, solving problems in real time, and supporting retail IT environments.

NO C2C, C2H VIA 3RD PARTIES. LOCAL CANDIDATES TO THE MIAMI-DADE/BROWARD AREA ONLY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and supportCisco Meraki networking equipmentat remote retail sites.
  • Perform field work includingSIM card provisioning, hardware checks, and on-site diagnostics.
  • Create and maintainnetwork diagramsand documentation, including photographic documentation of setups.
  • Support network documentation and ensure up-to-date records of IP schemes, devices, and environments.
  • Provide administrative support forOffice 365environment.
  • Troubleshoot and support firewall configurations (Fortinet experience is a plus).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal IT and field teams to ensure consistent network standards across sites.
  • Travel extensively within Florida includingMiami-Dade, Broward, West Palm Beach, Orlando, and Naples.

Qualifications

  • 24 years of hands-on networking experience, preferably in a multi-site or field service capacity.
  • Solid experience working withCisco Merakihardware and cloud-based configuration.
  • Familiarity withO365 administration(user setup, permissions, etc.).
  • Basic understanding offirewalls; experience withFortinetproducts is a strong plus.
  • Ability to read and createnetwork topology diagrams.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Valid Florida drivers license and ability to travel extensively throughout the state.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,CompTIA Network+,CCNA) are a plus.
