Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with multi-network technologies and technical leadership experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Leads creation of standards for new technology. Designs and models services for inter-networking and client converged networks. Provides guidance for multiple/converged telecom technologies, contact center, network security, and transmissions. Creates and integrates solutions and services. Guides, directs, or recommends enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Evaluates product and service solutions. Leads and develops multi-platform converged enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise WiFi and Fixed Cellular solutions across branch and corporate locations.
  • Manage large-scale network infrastructure projects, coordinating with Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities, Branch Operations, vendors, and technology teams.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network performance, connectivity, and security incidents.
  • Design, implement, and maintain WAN, LAN, wireless, voice, and data network solutions.
  • Support network operations, monitoring, configuration management, and system software infrastructure initiatives.
  • Develop and execute contingency, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans for critical network services.
  • Evaluate new network technologies, products, and vendor solutions to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert for network architecture, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise connectivity initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 5 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.
-At least 5 years experience with managing day-to-day delivery of satisfactory network services to clients.

  • Extensive experience supporting enterprise network operations in large-scale, multi-site environments.
  • Strong expertise in WiFi, Fixed Cellular, WAN, LAN, voice, and data networking technologies.
  • Experience with network architecture, design, implementation, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Advanced knowledge of network security, internet security protocols, and secure connectivity solutions.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Experience with configuration management, network monitoring, and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Knowledge of business continuity, contingency planning, and disaster recovery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating network products, technologies, and vendor solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure standards, policies, governance, and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.

Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
