About the role
This role serves as the Ministry Coordinator for Christ Covenant Smyrna. This role is full-time and reports to the Campus Pastor for Christ Covenant Smyrna. The expectations below outline the responsibilities and accountabilities reviewed during each performance cycle. This position is primarily responsible for the administrative functions that support the assimilation of prospective and new members into the life of the church.
What you'll do
Campus Administration
  • Maintain and continually deepen an understanding of the Campus Pastor's vision and campus needs
  • Serve as the primary person responsible for the Christ Covenant Smyrna calendar and facility bookings
  • Act as the liaison for general campus operations, including ordering snacks for campus staff, communicating facility needs to the facilities team, and serving as the point of contact for all operational needs of the campus
  • Support campus staff as needed
  • Initiate and manage visitor communication
  • Assist in planning and executing ministry events at Christ Covenant Smyrna
  • Oversee ordering of lounge supplies and general church supplies

Assist Campus Pastor
  • Manage the Campus Pastor's Calendar
  • Assist the Campus Pastor with daily tasks, including email management, expense reports, travel planning, and task organization
  • Serve as a discerning sounding board and trusted representative for the Campus Pastor

Special Projects
  • Manage special projects as directed by the Campus Pastor
  • Collaborate with the Events and Hospitalan and execute special events for the Christ Covenant Smyrna campus

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (B.A.) in related field
  • 3-4 years of administrative experience
  • Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the values of Christ Covenant.
