Job description

San Marcos Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in San Marcos, Texas is looking for Part Time, Qualified 1099 Contractor Drivers to become part of our team! This position will be On-Call
About the Role
We are seeking reliable, customer-focused part-time drivers to support our car dealership's operations. As a 1099 contractor, you will transport vehicles, parts, and equipment between our San Marcos location and other dealership sites, customer appointments, and approved drop-off points. This role requires discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Transport vehicles, parts, and equipment between dealership locations, customer appointments, and approved drop-off points.
  • Load and unload vehicles and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow all dealership scheduling requirements.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and dealership policies.
  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers and dealership staff.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain and clean assigned vehicle as required.
  • Follow all environmental and safety protocols for handling vehicles and materials.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Experience as a driver, especially in the automotive or logistics industry, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
