Job Function:


Under the supervision of the Executive Director of HR, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator works to:


1. Lead, plan, direct, coordinate, and execute recruitment initiatives to ensure schools are fully staffed.

2. Coordinates candidate selection in the areas of certification, highly qualified teachers, retention, and performance management.

3. Develops and maintains talent acquisition pipelines to identify prospective candidates.

4. Collaborates effectively with staff to oversee the hiring and selection process.


Duties:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of HR and the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).


• Work with Campus-Based Talent Leaders and other supervisors to develop plans to keep schools fully staffed, ensure job specifications and desired candidate qualities are clear, and provided feedback on candidate selection.

• Internalize our staffing, recruitment, selection, hiring, and retention process.

• Strong organizational, teamwork, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to collaborate with organizations to build talent pipelines.

• Coordinate charter wide recruitment initiatives overseeing preparation and budget.

• Drive and manage the candidate journey throughout the selection process to ensure a positive experience.

• Manage and oversee the collaboration with colleges/universities to adequately place students.

• Manage special projects as assigned by the CHRO including reports, district job fairs, and recruitment promotional items.

• Verify certification status of teacher applicants and employees with the Texas State Board of Education Certification (SBEC), universities, colleges, and education agencies in other states.

• Assists with the maintenance of complete job description documentation.

• Reviews employment applications and all associated documents for completeness and accuracy.

• Maintains records and provides reports as necessary regarding resumes, applicant flow, and employee selection (in computer database and files).

• Schedules and attends on site Career Fairs as needed to expand the network of candidates for TBP.

• Manages the various platforms necessary to attend the variety of virtual Career Fairs and recruits appropriate campus staff to attend.

• Prepares and posts job openings internally and externally as appropriate.

• Assists in reaching out to candidates using a variety of methods including social media, partnerships with universities, etc.

• Assists with the development and implementation of teacher retention strategies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.


Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience with Recruitment & Certification requirements.

• Ability to travel.

• Comprehensive Human Resources experience preferred.
