Job description

Anderson University's School of Physical Therapy is seeking applicants to fill a full-time faculty position in its accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Although the main campus is in Anderson, SC, the DPT program is housed at the University Center in nearby Greenville, SC. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply.

Qualified applicants must be a licensed physical therapist who possesses a doctoral degree and have at least two years of clinical experience. Individuals who are board certified clinical specialists and/or those who hold academic doctoral degrees (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Sc., D.HSc., or similar) are highly desired as are those with prior teaching experience. Qualified applicants must be willing to teach a variety of courses in the DPT program, mentor students, engage in professional and community service, and disseminate scholarly products.

This is a 12-month academic appointment. Salary is negotiable depending on applicant's credentials and prior level of academic and/or clinical experience. The candidate hired for the position will receive a Professional Path contract. Each contract focuses on teaching, learning and service. An opportunity to promote within faculty ranks is available as the candidate becomes eligible.
