Family Ministries Director

Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with FPC Bradenton in Bradenton, Florida as they search for their next Family Ministries Director. FPC Bradenton is a conservative, evangelical church connected to the PCUSA, faithfully ministering in the heart of downtown Bradenton with a renewed commitment to reaching the next generation for Jesus.

Position Overview

This role is focused on leading and developing Children's, Youth, and Family Ministries to help the church effectively reach and disciple the next generation. The Family Ministries Director will provide vision, leadership, and hands-on engagement while building and equipping volunteer teams and partnering with church leadership to accomplish ministry goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Family Ministry Team to ensure ministry goals are being met.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for vibrant, sustainable Children's, Youth, and Family Ministries.
  • Lead and oversee Children's, Youth, and Family ministry programs.
  • Recruit, develop, and empower volunteer leaders across all family ministry areas.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Pastor, staff, and ministry leaders to coordinate teaching, volunteers, and ministry calendar.
  • Participate in staff meetings, worship functions, and provide pastoral care as needed.
  • Partner with Session and church leadership to advance ministry programming, missions, fellowship, and community engagement.
