Join the team at The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio, a year round, full service restaurant located at Hersheypark. The Chocolatier serves up family fare with a fun spin, and hints of chocolate for lunch and dinner. The space features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection, one-of-a-kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second-story patio and bar. The Chocolatier celebrates the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun, and of course, chocolate.
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall sanitation and cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment, including all dish room activity and other related tasks.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
  • Clean, wash, and store all utensils, dishes, pans, and other related items.*
  • Clean all food service areas, storeroom and locker areas in order to maintain sanitation, safety, and cleanliness.*
  • Clean all kitchen surfaces (floors, walls, ceiling, etc.); maintain clean dishwasher and dishwashing areas.*
  • Assist in food preparation as needed*
  • Adhere to all food safety codes and programs related to the Department of Agriculture. Log cleaning activities as needed in order to maintain compliance with company and regulatory rules.*
  • Stock all service areas within the kitchen with glassware, silver, china, etc.; empty and scrub garbage containers when necessary.*
  • Keep garbage compactor area clean and neat; clean hood areas and screens above cooking areas.*
  • Unload delivery trucks and store products in designated areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
