Bakery Prep and Production

BAKERY PREP AND PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is looking for a Bakery Prep and Production Assistant to join our bakery team.
DAY SHIFT POSITION
Schedule varies based on production and event needs.
Responsibilities:
• Fill pastries, cannolis, éclairs, cream puffs, and other desserts
• Dip items in chocolate
• Assist with scaling and product preparation
• Wash bakery dishes and maintain a clean workspace
• Stock and rotate inventory
• Additional baking tasks and responsibilities available for the right candidate
Requirements:
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Baking, pastry school, culinary school, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
Willing to train the right person.
Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour
