Join our team as a Chocolate Maker / Production Operator and help create high-quality chocolate products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality products. This role is responsible for operating specialized chocolate production equipment, preparing batches, packaging finished products, and maintaining food safety and quality standards. Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required - we provide hands-on training and are willing to train motivated candidates with strong work ethic and attention to detail who are eager to learn and grow within our production team.
Operate and monitor specialized chocolate production equipment, including mixers, tempering machines, molding equipment, and enrobing lines
Measure, mix, and prepare chocolate batches according to recipes and production schedules
Maintain consistent product quality by controlling temperature, timing, and ingredient ratios
Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic equipment troubleshooting
Package finished chocolate products, including wrapping, labeling, and boxing
Inspect products for quality, consistency, and appearance
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas before and after production runs
Maintain accurate production logs and records
Assist with inventory management of raw materials and finished goods
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
Ability to operate and understand production machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic math skills for measurements and batch calculations
Ability to follow instructions and standardized recipes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes through hands-on training
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Capable of lifting up to 40-50 pounds
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to work in warm conditions around heated equipment
Exposure to food allergens such as dairy and nuts
Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, hairnets, and uniforms
