Full Time Temporary Production Work
Initial assignment - up to 4 months of work
Location: San Leandro
Pay: $20.50 per hour plus shift differential
* Bonus potential of $600 with completion of4 month assignment and satisfactory job performance and attendance (640 hours)
Must pass a background check, 50lb lift test and drug screen.
Safety Shoes required. Up to $50 reimbursement for Safety shoes.
Required to wear personal Protective Equipment issued by company,
Temporary Employees
  • Are required to join the union and will receive a reduced initiation fee.
  • Earn sick leave according to the CA labor codes, 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
  • Receive a product purchase discount of 50% on chocolate and ice cream fountain products!!
Summary:
This is a Union environment. Full Time Temporary Production position for up to 4 months.The Temporary Production Worker is responsible for packing, bagging, wrapping, marking, box or bag forming, machine feeding, table work or other production or finishing work of like nature involving similar skill and responsibility.
This position, by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, is responsible for recommending, developing, implementing and managing safety, quality and food safety on all product lines.
Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Must be a fast learner who is open to learning new skills
  • Must have the ability to stand while working for up to 8 hours
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility to work in different environments- exposure to heat, cold or humid conditions on a regular basis
  • Potential for overtime
  • Must be responsible, reliable, with a positive attitude!
